Our Mission
Singing isn't just about hitting the notes. It's about touching souls.
S.O.U.L.S. is a 501-(c)(3), non-profit corporation passionately founded with the purpose of providing opportunities for culturally diverse East Tennessee youth, ages 9-18, to build relational bonds through music and leadership training. Our mission is to share collaborative performances of classical, gospel, contemporary Christian, patriotic, and ethnically-inclusive choral music in houses of worship and at regional, civic, and community events that promote a message of God's unifying love, barrier-breaking peace, encouraging hope, and contagious joy.
If you are between the ages of 9-18 and love music, we encourage you to prayerfully consider joining this talented group of East TN singers! Submit an application by clicking the "join us" button above.

We are very thankful for being selected to receive a Grant Subsidy for this educational musical theatre opportunity for our students. We cannot wait!

Nov 21, 2025, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PMKnoxville, Chilhowee Park, Knoxville, TN 37914, USAS.O.U.L.S. Youth Choir will sing twice in the Planetarium at MUSE Knoxville beginning at 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm. We will sing at the City's Tree Lighting from 5:30-6:00 pm. All Nov. 21st Events are on the Campus of Chilhowee Park! It is a short 5 minute walk between venues.

Worship begins at 10:30 am. Please invite friends and family for this special day. Plan to stay for the church provided luncheon for singers, parents, and guests. Students arrive dressed by 9 am!

Jun 22, 2025, 1:30 PM – 8:00 PMCumberland County Playhouse , 221 Tennessee Ave, Crossville, TN 38555, USAS.O.U.L.S. Youth Choir is a 2025 recipient of a Knoxville City Empower Grant. This grant is allowing S.O.U.L.S. students to see the Broadway Musical Hairspray at Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville. Students will be discussing themes of discrimination and teen bullying after seeing the show.
